Studio Hire Johannesburg
Arise Studios is a black-owned production house that has been in action for over 10 years. We have worked on vast productions and some of our highlights include the SA President’s Black Industrialists Conference, a documentary that featured Black business people that have made great turnovers in business.
We were also the filming crew for SASRIA in their documentary about the biggest insurance claim in the world relating to the Durban events of July 2021. Another key pleasurable project we worked on was Behind The Story Season 5 which we filmed for Paramount’s BET Africa, and their Season 6 which is currently on air.
Arise Studios has done short films, corporate videos and documentaries, including the SAFTA award-winning film “New Era Sessions” which featured the internationally recognised actor, Atandwa Kani, as the lead.
WHY US?
Our studio is home to the MacG Podcast Network, The Politics of Politics with Neo Lekgabo, Dineo Ranaka’s “Sex and Stuff” and Briefly SA, just to mention a few. We also believe in empowering the next generation, and we currently have 10 interns from colleges in Jhb who are learning on the job skills at our studio. We pride ourselves in our quality high standard of work and ethics, we value relationships, and we believe in making great TV.
